Simon Rodriguez MD

Is a native of Ciudad Juárez, México. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Rodriguez attended medical school at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez in México and underwent his Internal Medicine training at Texas Tech University Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He received his fellowship training in Nephrology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Emory University is considered one of the top 20 schools in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report 2011 Rankings. Dr. Rodriguez underwent additional training in Interventional Nephrology and Renal Ultrasonography. He joined El Paso Kidney Specialists in August 2010. His interests include hemodialysis vascular access, diabetic nephropathy and kidney transplantation. He is an active promoter of maintaining vascular access in the dialysis population.
